Installation
Installation
Before installing your new Stator
- Check the AC output of the stator
- Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator rectifier
- Check and repair any melted wiring
- Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors
Our stator might have a different wire color code than your original part.
All the wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such.
When bolting stator in, always use locking compound.
If our stator includes a pickup coil, always make sure the air gap is correct upon installation; we suggest as close as possible but no less than 0.010".
Before installing your new Voltage Regulator Rectifier:
- Check the AC output of the stator.
- Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator rectifier
- Check and repair any melted wiring
- Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors
Warning:
Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing.
Ensure proper installation by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.

One note to improve would be to be better informed of exact delivery time.
We were not home and would have had to wait an extra day for a re-delivery or drive 20 minutes to pick up from courier.
Courier was excellent, who called first thing the next morning to arrange a follow up delivery.

Took my 08 yamaha rhino 700 to a mechanic and couldn't figure out why itwouldn't spark. So my brother and I figured it had to be the stator, which was replaced less than a year prior. Took a risk buying another stator and worked like a charm. Turns out the other stator had a faulty pickup coil. Definitely very happy with this product!

Kit Stator + Gasket + External Ignition Coil for Yamaha YXR Rhino 700 2008-2011
2020 Ryker Rally. Everything electronic except my triple brake flash device was fine. That brake flash device went up in smoke. I installed this voltage regulator along with a new antigravity battery. Starts right up. Voltage sits at about 13.3v or so when parked in the garage. I also had to buy a lithium charger for the new antigravity battery. Going lithium is pricey.
